Headlines of the Day

Today was supposed to be a big day: I was slated to complete the final steps of getting my residency visa. Reality? Long story short, I didn’t. Step 1 of 3 for the day managed to get done (blood test: check!….chest x-ray: check!), but it felt a bit like a morning wasted, but c’est la vie.

Although it was a long morning, I did manage to catch up on today’s local news! Over my coffee at the DIFC this morning (Starbucks holiday red cup…check!), I delighted in some of these humorous, perplexing and interesting UAE newspaper headlines. Enjoy, friends! Until next time…
